Ma’ in Hot Springs

Anyone who visits the Dead Sea will have to add the trip to Ma’ in Hot Springs. Many tourists but also locals visit here each year to take advantage of the waterfall oasis with hyper thermal waters that are also abundant with minerals. It lies at 264m below sea level with it originating from the winter rainfalls high up in the Jordan plains which feed the 109 various hot and cold springs. As the water travels down the valley it can reach temperatures of up to 63 degrees Celsius before it decides to empty itself into the Zarqa river. The water is heated to these temperatures by bubbling underground lava that causes hot air to rise and consequently heat the water above it. It is a lovely place to relax and very good for the skin alike due to the naturalness of it. Visit here on a colder day in the winter to experience something out of this world as you enter some of the warmest natural water you will have ever experienced. In the same area is a hotel and spa which offers accommodation but also a range of professional treatments such as mud wraps, hydro-jet baths and showers, mud facials and even and underwater massage if you can even begin to imagine that! Whatever you decide to do whether it is a treatment or just relaxing throughout the hot springs then you are sure to have a very relaxing and quite unique experience that you may have never felt before.
